1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EasyHome ("the Service"), a product of Easyapps LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content. EasyHome and Bailey AI are products owned and operated by Easyapps LLC.

2. Description of Service

EasyHome is a home management platform that provides:

• Meal planning and recipe management
• Shopping list generation and management
• Household chore and task organization
• Calendar and event management
• Family account management
• AI-powered recipe suggestions and meal planning
• Subscription-based premium features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or have parental consent if under 13)
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Types

• Free Accounts: Basic features with limited functionality
• Premium Monthly: Enhanced features including AI credits (paid subscription, $9.99/mo)
• Premium Yearly: Enhanced features including AI credits (paid subscription, $99.99/yr)

3.3 Account Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through account settings
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• Data associated with terminated accounts will be deleted within 30 days

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use the Service to transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional materials
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Collect or harvest information about other users without their consent
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you create (recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, etc.)
• By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content to provide the Service
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party rights
• You represent that you have the right to submit all content you provide

5.2 Prohibited Content

You may not submit content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
• Contains personal information of others without consent
• Is spam, fraudulent, or misleading

5.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, with or without notice.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

6.2 Payment Processing

• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors
• You agree to provide accurate payment information
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees
• If payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your subscription

6.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period

6.4 Refund Policy

• Subscriptions: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law (e.g., consumer protection regulations in your jurisdiction).
• Credits: AI credits are non-refundable once purchased. Credits do not expire.
• Refund requests: Contact support@easyhomeapp.org for questions. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis where required by law.

6.5 Free Trial

• We may offer free trials for premium features
• Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
• You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Easyapps LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. EasyHome and Bailey AI are trademarks and products of Easyapps LLC.
• Our trademarks, logos, and service marks (including "EasyHome", "Bailey AI", and "Easyapps LLC") may not be used without our written permission
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service

7.2 AI-Generated Content

• AI-generated recipes and content are provided for your personal use
• You may use AI-generated content for personal meal planning and cooking
• Commercial use of AI-generated content may require additional licensing

7.3 Third-Party Content

• The Service may include content from third parties (recipes, nutritional data, etc.)
• Third-party content is subject to its own terms and licenses
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

• We are not responsible for third-party services or content

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Easyapps LLC (owner of EasyHome and Bailey AI) and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit to the Service

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve disputes within 60 days.

12.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that:

• Either party may seek injunctive relief in court
• Small claims court actions are not subject to arbitration

12.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes will be resolved individually, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

13. Children's Accounts (COPPA)

For users under 13 years of age:

• Parental consent is required before account creation
• Parents have full control over their child's account
• Parents can view, modify, or delete their child's data at any time
• We collect minimal data necessary for the Service
• We do not share child data with third parties except as necessary for the Service

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Extended period of account inactivity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and data.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will:

• Post the updated Terms on this page
• Update the "Last Updated" date
• Notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification
• Require you to accept updated Terms when you next log in (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Easyapps LLC (owner of EasyHome and Bailey AI) regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

21. Apple iOS App Store

If you access or use EasyHome through the Apple iOS App Store, the following additional terms apply:

• In-App Purchases: Subscriptions and credits purchased through the iOS app are processed by Apple. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device Account Settings after purchase.
• Refunds for Apple Purchases: Refund requests for purchases made through the Apple App Store must be submitted to Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or use the refund option in your App Store account. Easyapps LLC cannot process refunds for Apple-mediated transactions.
• Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
• Apple Disclaimer: These Terms are between you and Easyapps LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligations with respect to the Service.
• Scope of License: Your license to use the iOS app is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
